I used to go to a free clinic that prescribed free birth control. Now that I have health insurance through my work, I think I'm just going to see a Gyno in a regular medical office. Does anyone know how much it costs with insurance?

Jayce's mommy asked:

I need to put my fiance on my medical bc I really think he needs to see a doctor soon. But for the good insurance it would be 120 every paycheck. I live paycheck to paycheck now so that would be very hard. This one insurance offered is 70 bucks a check BCBS high deductible. Now its like 80% covered after the deductible. I mean I do not know how good this is. I mean we prolly don't need a doctor but a few times a year and he needs to go soon. So what could I expect to pay for a doctors visit and presciption medicine?
He gets out of breath easily coughs a lot of phlegm wheezy…
Yes they will cover him, it is spouse or domestic partner you do not have to be married. The 120 a check (240 a month) all i have to pay is a co pay. I just don't know what to do.

My employer is a small business owner and does not provide benefits (health insurance, 401k, etc.). My wife and I are pretty health, so even with the insurance premiums – we don't have enough medical expense to use as an itemized deduction (7.5% of gross earning). Is there any options for me to be able to pay my insurance premiums with pretax dollars?

Let me explain my situation: I'm a *********** woman who works at a private school. Our current health insurance policy explicitly excludes trans-related procedures and treatment. I've spoken to my school's benefits department and they've agreed to pay to have the exclusions removed. However, Highmark Blue Shield supposedly claims that it isn't possible to add or remove conditions like that from a standard plan. Does anybody have any idea how medical insurance policies for larger organizations tend to work in this regard?
