I am 23 years old & I'm fixing to graduate from college. I will no longer be covered under my parents insurance & I want to buy some. I've always had wonderful insurance with Blue Cross/Blue Shield & I'd like to have the same kind of great insurance when I purchase it after graduating. I just want dental/maternity/maybe optical/and the other basics. Ballpark, how much would insurance be on me? When I get married will it be cheaper to cover both of us? What will that price be? I'm very healthy & do not smoke.
hey guys, i'm 19 yrs old, i live in chicago, and i cannot afford health insurance.
i work two jobs (one which is paid under the table) and i go to college. with high college costs, i do not make enough money to have health insurance…and unfortantly my job does not offer it. because of my salary, i have womens insurance, which is great but i also really need health coverage.
We have health insurance through my employer which costs me appx $480 per month…..enough of that crap, I'm sure I can get it cheaper by buying it privately! Any good websites?

I am employed part time and don't make enough to pay for good health care coverage. I don't qualify for TennCare and covertn only goes to $25,000 and then you're out of luck. Normal coverage would be good for inpatient treatment. I'm afraid I have a severe liver problem but I can't afford to pay out of pocket and I can't afford good coverage. I can't get insurance with my employer until Jan.1st 2010.

My job does not offer insurance and even my husbands job offers expensive insurance that would cost us over $115 a month for health and dental for us. All we want is two dental cleanings a year and one or two visits to the doctor for when we get the flu (which we do get, every year). Wouldn't it be cheaper just to pay for the doctor visit instead of paying hundreds to an insurance company only to get half off at the doctor?
