How quickly will Congress pass health care reform now that the "Government Option" is off the table?
It's seems that we're not yet ready for Medicare for all.
This doesn't mean that we stop trying to reform a health care system that's wacked out.
Why do employers still get stuck with paying for health care?
I will be getting done work next year and would like to retire to a state where I can better afford medical insurance for myself and my wife. I now live in Maine and the health care cost is just overwhelming. Is there any listing of states (highest to lowest) that would tell me which would be the cheapest to retire to?…thanks, Vince.

Ok, I think I am already addicted to this Yahoo Answers thing considering this is my 3rd question already! LOL, Anyway, I have currently been without any health insurance for over a year now and I do not want to risk that any longer! My problem is, of course, money. The insurance offered through my job is pretty good but it is also pretty expensive ($54 every 2 weeks: $108/month) not including dental. I have done the famous google search for health insurance quotes and I keep coming up with the same few sites that acutally show me the quotes and not have to call me or email me some crap. .
Can anyone give me some tips on where to look? I want to pay less then $100/month with dental included and I have found 1 that seems decent so far but I feel like I can find something better.
I am looking for a deductable between $500 and $1000 and the cheapest possible copay, no more than $30.

It's common for people to pay about $100/month for health insurance.
maybe $300/month if they have a family.
If health insurance is so cheap, why are there so many uninsured Americans?

last march, i was diagnose with CIN 1 dysplasia. i was told i had abnormal cells in my cervix. i was told to return in 6 months but because of lack of insurance, debt, and no money, i have yet to return. the doctor had told me that there is chance that it will go away on its own, but i still need to go in and get follow up tests. i am 23 years old and i dont want to increase the debt i have from college loans i am currently paying on. Are there some government programs or really cheap insurance that will help me out? I really need to go back ASAP.

Her's is only $15 cheaper PER MONTH, but they just announced that their wellness visits are NO COPAY and their generics are a flat $5. Urgent care is a flat $10 copay… This is a huge savings from mine… Will they let me cancel?
