How much do you pay for health insurance now and are you happy with it?

1200 a year and I am very happy.

Our family gets ours through my husband's company that he earns from going to work every day.

We pay $35 a week for it.

We are very happy with it. We also get a HSA that rolls over each year and currently has about $5k in it… which covers any deductable we may have.

My employer pays my entire insurance bill. I'm pretty happy with that. I just got my tonsils out last Friday and had a great experience with the health professionals charged with my care.

I get mine through my employer. It's good and it's cheap and Obama better not touch it!

I pay 398.00 per month. I am happy with my coverage. But the price has increased double digits every year for 10 years. I am lucky my employer offers health insurance now, I have a pre-existing condition (high blood pressure) and was unable to find affordable coverage the first 8 years I was at this job as my employer didn't offer health insurance then.

Then keep yours. Nobody will prevent that. Don't keep others from having it though.

I wonder if you've had to use it a lot… As someone who used to work for a health insurance company, I am very aware that they are not out to help their customers, they want to make money so they do everything they can not to pay whenever possible. If your happy with it though, that is great. There are a lot of people who can't get health insurance due to their preexisting conditions or due to the cost. For just a married couple with no children, the minimum cost per month I could find is $300 a month but that is with a $5,000-10,000 deductible, meaning its only good for use in a major emergency. My husband and I both work for employers who do not offer health insurance and we are not covered.
