Well, there is COBRA, and you can also call your  insurance carrier and ask them what kind of direct pay policies you can buy directly from them.  Some offer cheap income base insurance plans, and there is also one called a fee schedule, where your premiums and co-pays and stuff are also based off of income.  Something like that will hold her over until she starts her job.</description>

		<description>Talk to the guy that does your house and car insurance.  He should be able to either set you up with a short term medical policy, or refer you to a local guy that can set you up.
